Though I have been taught that God’s Word will never return void. I have been taught that His ways are not our way and His timing is not our timing. Every now and then you need a reminder of exactly what God word actually says.
Hebrews 13:5b says ‘ For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”‘ In Jeremiah 29:11 the word says “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
In the midst of your trial and tribulations; in the midst of the tears and suffering, we cry out asking if God even remembers us. In our darkest moments when we are being persecuted from every direction, when doors refusing to open to free us from our prison we question our faith, our walk, and even our Lord. But this is when we need to remember God’s word the most. When we need our sisters and brothers in Christ to speak His word into our spirits. When we need to pick up our bible and asked God to give us the answer we need to go another day. When we need to reach out to the God’s warriors and minister to seek the Lord on our behalf.
I have been blessed to belong to a prayer ministry that goes to the Throne Monday – Friday every morning praying for out nation from DC to our local states. A group of believers that follow 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Every other Wednesday, we hear a Word from the Lord by one of God’s anointed. This morning word came from 1 Samuel 30:8, “and David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?” He reminded us that even through our ashes there will be a blessing. That we need to seek God before everything we do. Sometimes we need to have others to seek God on our behalf for an answer to our petition to the Lord. And when we trust in the Lord and seek and ask him, He will give us what we ask and more.
I mention this because of yesterday, my spiritual brother and friend spoke words to my spirit was re-resonated this morning. The Word that let me know God is preparing me for something in the midst of my ashes that when God open the doors from captivity, no man will close. But, I must do my part by waiting, believing and trusting in the Word of my Lord and Savior. That I must seek his instructions and allow Him to order every single step I make and every word I utter. The song that came to my spirit after our prayer call was “I Surrender All”. For I must surrender for His perfect works to be fulfilled in my life. This will come through the removal of impurities by fire. Allowing beauty to come through ashes!
